CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (ANS) -- As a young man with a great job in the music industry, three things defined Bob Coy's life in the 1970s: sex, drugs and rock n' roll. Coy succumbed to the tempting influences around him, only to discover that his life still felt empty.

But when Coy opened a Bible and read about God's love and forgiveness, he decided to put his faith in Christ and was never the same. Pursuing happiness had failed him -- but Christ rescued him and changed his life.

Millions of viewers will be inspired by Coy's story and others on the next Billy Graham TV Special, "America's Dream: Pursuing Happiness," which airs across the U.S. March 1-9. The program shares the stories of Americans whose shattered dreams were the first steps to finding lasting joy in Jesus Christ.

"I needed to be saved from myself," says featured author and social activist Star Parker, whose life of stealing, partying and promiscuity was transformed when she experienced God's love.

Other testimonies include those of Jerry Moore, head football coach of Appalachian State University, winner of three consecutive national titles; and professional bull rider Wiley Petersen, winner of the 2007 Professional
Bull Riders Built Ford Tough World Finals.

The TV Special also features a world-premiere music video from Matthew West, and performances by Grammy-winning rock band Third Day and singer/songwriter Michael O'Brien.
