Goats provide a good source of income for poor families in Asia.

WEST BENGAL, INDIA (ANS) -- Rahul Soren is a believer in West Bengal, India. When he received a Christmas gift from Gospel for Asia, he unknowingly got an extra gift, too.

Through the GFA Christmas Gift Catalog, Rahul and his family received two goats this year. And just three days after receiving the pair, Rahul got another blessing. The female goat gave birth to a kid! Now, he can sell goat milk as well as raise the kid to sell for a good price.

The goats have brought peace of mind to Rahul’s family. Instead of going out every day hoping to find a manual labor job—and often not finding any work—he can tend his goats, which will provide the income his family needs.

“Whenever blessing comes from above, it comes abundantly!” Rahul told a GFA worker.
