Pola Muzyka, a Christian Author Who Writes ‘Stronghold Smasher Suspense’ In Which She Features both Faith and Hope and also ‘Shines a Light on Evil’

By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries

WALESKA, GA (ANS) -- Christian author, Pola Muzyka, writes convincing stories of how hope, love, and faith survive in the midst of controversial laws, choices, and doctrines. Her portrayal of a man in conflict in Abducted to Kill is evidence of her desire to peel away the facade of war and hardships and expose the spiritual ramifications of stepping outside of God's will and wisdom.

Pola Muzyka

In her book, Abducted to Kill, a young Joseph Rabbani, is pressured to leave his country behind and move to Iran. He is abducted to serve in a start-up military whose convictions go against his faith. As a result he is forced to kill people whose faith he shares. The urgency in the alluring portrayal of his inner battle to survive and warn the family he loves is evident in Ms. Muzyka's writing as our hero anguishes and deceives in order to escape. To make matters worse, Joseph's fiancée is in danger because of him.

A simple change of religion has caused her grave consequences as an apostate living in an Islamic country. What Joseph encounters in his training is horrifying for even the most stouthearted reader. Inspired by a true story and historical evidence, this novel is well researched and both eye-opening and revealing.

Due to release this fall is The Freedom Inside, an amazing sequel to the two volumes of Abducted to Kill. In the two volumes of The Freedom Inside, Pola Muzyka takes one of the characters from Abducted to Kill and years later puts her in a heart-wrenching dilemma. As a doctor working for an Imam she has access to vital and sensitive information that can save virtually hundreds, if not thousands, of Christian converts. She shares this information with her American husband, now nameless and faceless in Iran, who has been splitting his time between helping the Christian underground and managing a productive farm business.

She discovers that she is pregnant and if the pregnancy is revealed in this country she must produce her husband or face the consequences as a criminal guilty of “Zina”, which in effect is adultery. But producing her husband would cause her husband and possibly their entire family to be killed along with her as dissidents. Should she go on trial and face eminent death for herself and the child growing inside her?

“These situations are very real in countries where persecution because of faith or beliefs is well documented,” says Pola. “I've chosen to write these stories that I call Stronghold Smasher Suspense because I want to reveal what the victims are facing -- not only in the persecution but in the anguish and hardship it evokes. I'm hoping my books show the reality of what our brothers and sisters are suffering because of faith in Jesus Christ. After all, they have real lives with real aspirations, hopes, and real fears.”

Pola was born on a sheep farm in Northeast, PA, the daughter of first generation Russian/Ukrainian immigrants. She studied drama and modeling in New York City and moved to Los Angeles where she continued her studies in theater arts. She worked as an actress in Hollywood for several years, traveling back and forth to Europe and eventually living in Italy, France, and England for long periods of time. She did extensive research under the art direction of four-time academy award winner Danilo Donati. Her first professional writing experience was as collaborating author in a Federico Fellini film.

Her life as an actress crashed at a crossroad where she went through a devastating separation. In 1982 she got down on her knees in an empty room and screamed out for truth. It was truth she desired and truth she received in the way of a Gideon bible, the only book in her collection she had not yet read. She came to receive Jesus Christ and turned her life, career, and all aspirations over to God. She founded Christian Media Alliance in 1997 but continued to work in the secular field as a producer, writer, TV Host, and director of corporate video, commercials, and documentaries.

In the meantime she began to write Christian stories, first for children, then of her testimony, and subsequently of strongholds in our lives that keep us from God's blessings.

Pola is the author of the blog www.StrongholdSmashers.com, where she points the way to overcoming strongholds that hold us back and keep us from receiving God's best.

“In my life I've learned that participating in evil in any form can separate us from God's blessings,” she says. “Today I live in Georgia and write to the glory of God for secular and Christian audiences—to let them know what people face in the world and how wrong choices, wrong thinking, bad habits, and foolish laws can entangle us in a web of deception that keeps us from God's best.”

Reviews on Pola's award winning book, Abducted to Kill, certainly indicate that she’s on the right track.

“This is a powerful, inspiring book. Not only well written, but well researched.” -- Carianne McGready Reviews.

“Heartrending story all should read. It is also a story of hope and love, and although much is intense and horrific, faith and love, as is the case when one trusts the Most High God, wins out.” -- Susanne Lakin, author, editor, & reviewer.

“Every American Christian who is comfortable in his faith and in his home should read this book.” says Lynn Chapman Editor at Christian Living.

“I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 1/2 years back in the 1980’s so I could really identify with Joseph and his mother as they were taken from their American home to live in a Muslim country because of the Iranian husband/father's longing to return to his homeland. Ms Muzyka seems to be very well informed about the Hezbollah and its reign of terror, with its brainwashing techniques, especially with young children and teenagers,” says Vivian Matheson, educator.

“Riveting! Off the charts powerful! -- A Mixture of Intrigue and Heartfelt Emotion. – Spellbinding read! -- A talented and informed writer. – Abducted to Kill is a fast and powerful read.” -- from several reviewers.

These are just a few samples of what people are saying after reading Pola Muzyka’s new book, Abducted to Kill, a glorious story of how love and faith can endure through the most cruel, hostile, and depraved environment imaginable.

The sequel, The Freedom Inside, continues the saga.

Joseph Rabbani once again faces the terror regime in The Freedom Inside when he attempts to smuggle out friends who are in danger of a Sharia death sentence. Involved in government espionage in order to save the Christian church, his friends are pursued by the regime and must hide their identity while they wait for a miraculous rescue.
