Christmas Book Festival to be held in East Malaysia

SARAWAK, MALAYSIA (ANS) -- From December 4th to 8th, 2012, a Christmas book festival will be held in the Star Mega Mall, Sibu, Sarawak state, east Malaysia.
Star Mega Mall which is one of the subsidiaries of Daesim Group opened in July 2011 and is the largest modern shopping complex in Central Sarawak with a total gross area of 460,000 sq. ft.
During the festival, South Korean spiritual leader Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's multi-language books will be displayed and a spectacular Christian performance DVD will be played in the venue.
A 3D movie entitled “The Castle of the Shepherd” will be presented letting viewers feel the beauty of a majestic castle in the New Jerusalem that is full of the glory of God.
In August 2007, Mrs. Deborah Tang received a Chinese version of “Heaven (1),” authored by Dr. Jaerock Lee as a gift from an acquaintance. She read the book cover to cover in a short time, and says she was surprised as she learned in the book about the existence of many dwelling places in heaven and different glories according to the measure of faith.
Mrs. Tang said that she was fascinated when Dr. Lee wrote about by the best dwelling place, which is “the New Jerusalem.” At that time, heaven had been only a vague notion in her mind, but after reading the book, the hope for heaven overflowed in her heart.
Now, in Malaysia, Dr. Jaerock Lee’s books are available through SNS Culture Trading in Kuala Lumpur, Manmin Bookstore in Sibu, and Beng Kai Enterprise in Miri.
Generally, Sarawak state has seven major ethnic groups namely Iban, Chinese, Malay, Bidayuh, Melanau, Orang Ulu, and others. Today, Chinese make up 24% of the population of the state. Christianity has the highest number of practitioners in Sarawak.
