CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ANS, May 9, 2015) — In the current Billy Graham television special – airing now on local and Christian stations and online – viewers can see how people are stepping out of their comfort zones, in faith, to share the hope and love of Christ, one life at a time.
“God has called all of us to be fishers of men,” says Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, “It doesn’t matter who you are, God can use you.”
With this new TV special, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is continuing to use every opportunity to touch people lives through its ongoing ministries. The program follows volunteers who step out in faith to present the Gospel through Billy Graham Evangelistic Association ministries.
‘My Hope’ films utilize messages from Billy Graham – including the recent “Heaven,” and “The Cross” programs – to make the Gospel accessible in any place from churches and theatres, to prisons and ball fields.
Franklin Graham Festivals and Will Graham Celebrations also bring the hope of Jesus Christ to stadiums and arenas around the world and stream online to thousands more. And the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team ministers to the spiritual and emotional needs of survivors in cities and towns recovering from disaster and tragedy.
In the current TV special, a woman, once incarcerated, shares how God reached her behind prison walls as she watched a message from Billy Graham through the My Hope program.
Viewers will also meet Ray Bombardieri, a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain, as he talks about his fear of going into a disaster-ravaged Haiti following the earthquake that devastated the country in 2010.
“He didn’t just want to save me; He wants to use me,” says Bombardieri. “I was leading people to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit was using me.” Bombardieri shares how his experience has led him to minister to others following tragedy.
