TEL AVIV, ISRAEL (ANS – Feb. 22, 2016) – A leading Holy Land tour operator, Kenes Christian Tours, has just announced the launch of a fascinating new tour that is specially designed for women.
Called “Women of Valor” with explanation, “A Journey in the Footsteps of the Biblical Women,” this unique Holy Land tour draws inspiration from the courageous acts of brave and influential biblical women of the Land of Israel, as well as women today and strives to encourage women to similarly see themselves as impactful and able to make a difference in today’s world and the many issues that impact the people and communities around them.
“Most Christian tours to Israel focus on a classical narrative with little attention to the role of women and their impact on important biblical events, as well as the reclaiming of modern Israel,” says Assaf Goren, CEO of Kenes Christian Tours.
“Deborah, Ruth, Rachel, the Three Mary’s, – all these Bible stories, offer real inspiration for today’s women. We wanted to create a thoughtful and educational program that would highlight these courageous women and provide opportunities for prayer and fellowship.”
A news release from Kenes Christian Tours, goes onto say, “Through prayer and learning alongside local scholars, Christian women, modern Israeli women and, of course, each other, participants will not only understand and draw inspiration from the message of Scripture but process this with a passion that will transform their lives.”
Guided by a thoughtful and knowledgeable Israeli tour educator, “Women of Valor” says that it aims to:
* Enhance one’s spirituality by learning and praying in the footsteps of Jesus and the biblical heroines.
* Encourage female bonding and sisterhood among Christian women.
* Create a Christian women’s network that will inspire women to engage with their communities about missions including important issues impacting women life around the world.
* Experience the blessing of Israel and the “not to be missed” Biblical sites.
The first scheduled tour is set for September 12 – 21, 2016. As part of the official launch of this program there will be a special “fam tour” for female pastors, pastors’ wives and women leaders in the Christian community. Interested pastors can apply directly by contacting Kenes Tours.
