BEAVERTON, OR (ANS – September 17, 2015) – Luis Palau’s historic NY CityFest evangelistic outreach from Times Square and Central Park is scheduled to air worldwide this fall on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). TBN will launch the prime-time, three-part special on Monday, September 21st, 7-9 pm, during Matt Crouch’s Praise the Lord program. Two subsequent airings of NY CityFest in Times Square and NY CityFest in Central Park will air later this fall.
“Our good friends at TBN are partnering with us to help spread the great news of what God did through NY CityFest just two months ago,” said Kevin Palau, President of the Luis Palau Association. “Dad and I are excited to join Matt & Laurie Crouch on TBN’s Praise the Lord program.”
The September 21 Praise the Lord program, hosted by Matt Crouch, will devote two hours to Luis and Kevin in studio. They will share behind-the-scenes stories and testimonies of all that transpired during the year-long regional campaign, which involved the partnership of more than 1,700 churches, 115 local evangelistic outreaches, and more than 10,000 documented decisions for Jesus Christ.
Matt Crouch and his wife Laurie were in NYC for the gatherings in Times Square and Central Park on July 10 and 11, and have since been working to produce the upcoming programs. During the July events the newly minted TBN Salsa Latino Network aired two live broadcasts of NY CityFest from Times Square and Central Park. The coverage included behind-the-scenes segments and up-close interviews with pastors and leaders who made the year-long evangelistic campaign a success.
Viewers who missed attending or watching live webcasts and broadcasts of NY CityFest can jump at the opportunity to enjoy the best two hours of each festival in Times Square and Central Park featuring evangelists Luis and Andrew Palau, and a slate of world-renown musical artists such as TobyMac, Matt Redman, Mandisa, Marcos Witt, and Chris Tomlin – all in the heart of New York City. Tune in to TBN’s Praise the Lord on September 21, 7-9pm, to learn more about dates and times for upcoming specials.
