LOS ANGELES, CA (ANS) – Ryan Ries is the co-founder of The Whosoevers movement, host of the national radio show and podcast “The Ryan Ries Show” and a regular speaker at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs, which airs his messages on FM radio.

Prior to joining ministry, he worked as the Director of Music Marketing for international brands in addition to managing top skateboarding teams. Today, he continues to work in the skateboarding and music industries and recently launched the new company Custom Branded. “Kill The Noise” recognizes how people are surrounded by noise from social media, the entertainment industry, drugs, pornography, among other things, and that it is nearly impossible to hear God’s truth with all the distractions. In the book, Ries shares his story of overcoming the messiness in his life, even when it seemed impossible.

Along with the book, Ries has written a supplemental seven-day devotional available on the YouVersion bible app, that has 500 million users. Also entitled “Kill The Noise,” the devotional further dives into topics addressed in the book including forgiveness, faithfulness, temptation and hope.

“My hope for ‘Kill The Noise’ is that through reading it people will be motivated to find God and discover they are created for His purpose,” said Ries. “Creating a devotional that goes along with the book provides an easy way to start engaging in scripture or dive back into it.”

The Whosoevers movement, co-founded by Ries and and Sonny Sandoval, lead singer of P.O.D, was created to empower people to realize their true life purpose. The organization inspires people to break the barriers of substance abuse, sex addiction, mental illness and suicidal thoughts by hosting dynamic live events at schools, skateparks, churches and juvenile detention facilities.  Ries hopes  participants will be inspired by the encouraging messages, music and skateboarding events.

Coinciding with the release of “Kill The Noise,” The Whosoevers kicked off MEGA TOUR in March with engagement events planned throughout California, Arkansas, Nevada, Mexico and Texas. Additional dates and locations will be added throughout the summer.

“God is making big things happen. Between the book release, documentaries and MEGA TOUR, so many people are getting to hear the message of finding purpose in their lives,” said Ries. “There is a collective noise created by social media, the entertainment industry and so many other desires that distract us from God. It is time for us to kill that noise.”
